You must provide accurate information when creating your account, including your real name, school, and grade. Using a false identity or misrepresenting your information is grounds for account termination.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at nexus.xtaiao@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
You agree to log volunteer hours accurately and honestly. Falsifying hours or generating PDF approval documents for hours that were not completed is a violation of these terms and may constitute academic fraud under your school board's policies. Nexus will try our best to assist you, but we are not responsible for how schools or institutions accept or reject submitted documentation, it is your responsibility to confirm requirements with your school.
You agree not to use Nexus to harass, impersonate, or harm other users or organizations. You agree not to attempt to access, scrape, or interfere with the platform or its underlying systems. You agree not to submit false or misleading information about volunteer placements or organizations. Violations may result in permanent account suspension.
Nexus connects students with volunteer opportunities posted by third-party organizations. We do not employ, endorse, or vet these organizations beyond basic listing review. You are responsible for your own safety when attending volunteer placements. We encourage you to inform a parent or guardian of any in-person placement you accept.
All content, design, and code on Nexus is owned by Nexus and protected by applicable copyright laws. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or use our branding or platform without written permission.
Nexus is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that any volunteer opportunity listed will be available, suitable, or safe. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nexus is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform or participation in any volunteer activity discovered through it.
We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use of Nexus after updated terms are posted constitutes your acceptance.
